Claymores 2026 End Of Season Banquet

And with that, the 2026 season is officially wrapped up.

It was a roller coaster of a year for the Claymores — full of wins, losses, scrums, boat races, tries, hard lessons, and most importantly, family.

On May 22, 2026, the boys and their partners came together to celebrate the end of another season of Claymore Rugby. This year’s banquet was held at Cooper’s Hawk, where players, coaches, partners, friends, and family gathered to put the final period on the 2025–26 season.

The night was filled with food, drinks, smiles, laughter, and plenty of stories from another year in the books. After a long season of battling together on the pitch, it was only right to come together one more time and celebrate everything this team has built.

As always, the annual awards were voted on by the players. This year, two Claymores walked away with double the silverware, making the night even more special.

• Jordi Award: Paul W

A massive congratulations to all of this year’s winners. Every award represents the work, commitment, and pride these players brought to the club throughout the season.

And finally, thank you to all the girlfriends, fiancées, wives, friends, family members, supporters, and everyone else who helped make another year of Claymore Rugby possible. A rugby club is never just the players on the field. It is the people behind them, the ones showing up, supporting, volunteering, cheering, and helping keep the culture alive.

The 2025–26 season is behind us now, but the Claymores move forward together.
